Presentation Slides: SAFe in 8 Pictures
Speaker: Laura Kelly, Agile Coach at Principal Financial Group
Laura has worked in Quality Assurance for over 15 years in every role from tester to a leader of QA teams. She’s spent the last 10 years at Principal, where she found a passion for agile methods and principles.
Her first agile project was over 7 years ago, and while it was more chaotic than agile, she knew it was how she wanted to work going forward. Laura is a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and Scaled Agile Consultant (SAFe). She’s led efforts for agile transformation in multiple areas at Principal and helped roll out SAFe. Most recently, she’s worked with business areas to help them adopt agile methods in their day-to-day work.
Laura is a self-proclaimed agile hippie, using agile methods in both her work and personal life. In her free time, she loves to read, cuddle with her two dogs and three cats, and play board games with her husband, daughter, and two sons.
