2020 Vision: Testing Transitions into the Next Decade
July 10 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
As the 2010’s wrap up, the role of the QA professional continues to evolve and gain importance. Technology runs our lives more than ever before, so it’s critical that technology needs to work, and users find it easy and enjoyable to use. QA professionals are at the forefront to ensure this happens!
Join Michael Faulise of tap|QA as we look at the transformation of the QA professional over the past decade, and the technologies, testing processes, and trends that will lead to further change as we head into “The Roaring ‘20’s.”
We’ll explore the changes in how we build software and the necessity for Quality Assurance to “shift left” to become even more valuable in the overall software development cycle, and how organizational culture is so critical in the success of a project. Finally, we’ll take a look at trends in testing tools, and how to integrate tools with the people within an organization to provide the most value possible.
This is a GREAT presentation for Managers, Leaders, and Practitioners alike as Michael reviews critically needed tester skills and discusses how to evolve your team’s skills to prepare for the next decade.
Following this meeting, TapQA, and DAQAA will be hosting a happy hour at Granite City, 12801 University Ave., Clive, Iowa 50325. If the weather is nice, we’ll be on the patio!
